The Little Posy Hut is a floral design studio founded by Helen McGuire. 

 

From an early age, Helen had a keen eye for design and love of fashion, interiors and styling. This, coupled with her passion for the natural world, meant it was inevitable that she would end up in floristry.

 

In planning her own wedding in 2002, Helen discovered that there was an opportunity for someone to bring a more personal, natural approach to floral design. In lovingly imagining and carefully crafting the flowers for her own nuptials, she fell head over heels with both the design process and the stunning floral result.  It was then that the idea of becoming a florist grew and she was able to combine this with the joys of teaching.

 

For a number of years, office jobs and children took precedence,

but finally the concept of ‘The Little Posy Hut’ could be brought to life (yes, literally too!) and her passion for beautiful flowers could be shared.
