When so many brides ask for "blush" as their colour for wedding flowers, it's important to consider that blush means different things to different people. Is your blush more pink, cream, pale, or peachy?!
Back in April at the beautiful Friern Manor, Carly & Greg tied the knot. At our first meeting Carly had chosen the bridesmaid's dresses and asked for blush pink flowers. But have you considered how many different shades of blush pink there are? Or have you considered adding another colour such as a hint of raspberry into the colour palette?
So, you may or may not have an idea in your head as to how you want the flowers to look alongside the rest of your colour scheme. As a florist I suggest the first place to start is on Pinterest and pinning pictures of everything you like. Have a look at colour palette suggestions and chat to your florist to gather ideas and take along fabric samples and pictures of your dresses. Remember that many professional wedding photos may have had filters applied, so that particular shade of rose may not exist in reality but there's often something similar that can be found.
If you're not sure where to start, trust your florist. We will ask all the questions to get to the bottom of what the perfect "blush" is for you, suggest flower varieties and shades/tones of pink that could be used in the designs and plan how we can ensure that your flowers are as individual as you and add that "wow" factor to your day.
